Strategic Account Manager

South UK

£60,000 - £65,000 per annum + commission & benefits.


As the Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for being the key contact for customers in the north of the UK.


The role is focusing on and building rapport and relationships with current clients, whilst delivering increasing profitable sales through the upselling and cross selling of other products within our portfolio.


The ideal candidate will be have previous experience of Radiology from a clinical and IT perspective, have a background in NHS client management and working with private healthcare organisations.


In this position you will be:


  • Achieving renewal, incremental and sales targets
  • Managing the day-to-day relationship with customers, ensuring regular face to face on-site visits where appropriate, delivering exceptional service and maximising customer retention
  • Escalating client issues through our resolution process and ensuring they are resolved
  • Delivering revenue growth within each account from cross selling additional products, upselling additional modules and functionality and go to market packaged sales products such as operational effectiveness audits and supporting training
  • Supporting the Sales Operations Team with the preparation of proposals, tenders and statements of work
  • Maintaining accurate records of all customer activity within our CRM system and in other formats as required
  • Supporting the sales team with attendance at conferences and exhibitions.


Responsibilities & Experience


  • Develop and implement retention strategies
  • Knowledge and experience of Healthcare IT sales
  • Knowledge of PACS & RIS
  • Prepare operational and financial department reports
  • Directly coordinate strategic plans and have a commercial mindset
  • Marketing initiatives to maximise exposure and profitability
  • 5+ years' of experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills.
