We are looking for a highly motivated Strategic Partnerships Manager with strong account management skills, knowledge of the hotel industry, B2B distribution and the ability to influence and drive cross-team results.
What you’ll do:
The
ideal candidate is a self-starter with a can-do attitude who enjoys
establishing commercial relationships and can balance multiple
exciting priorities. This role brings together the Supply and Demand
side of Expedia Group’s leading travel platform, the opportunity to
join a fast-paced dynamic team and make an exceptional impact in
redefining the B2B distribution landscape for the lodging industry
through the Optimized Distribution Program.
Negotiate attractive Optimize Distribution deals and ensure mutually beneficial partnership terms that are in line with business objectives and strategy
Build a solid relationship with several of EG’s regional chains and/or independent properties; be on point for troubleshooting, operational queries and improve competitiveness of B2B offering
Collaborate with commercial teams to enhance existing partnerships through maximizing sales opportunities
Monitor hotel chain and PLS partner production reports, drive efficiencies between supply and demand and help uncover new revenue opportunities
Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales activities to ensure smooth partner integration
Work closely with cross-functional teams such as finance, sales, operations, and analytics
Monitor market trends and provide regular competitor feedback
Who you are:
Bachelor’s and/or Master's in Management or any related field; or equivalent related professional experience
Experience with account management, revenue management, business development and/or consulting
A strong track record of success in building strategic partnerships
Knowledge of the hotel industry and B2B sales landscape
Analytical skills to draw insights from data and formulate commercial actions
Very strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and critical thinking skills
Passion for long term relationships with both internal and external customers
A great teammate who can lead by influence
Tech-savvy with some ability to communicate technical product features effectively
Works well under pressure and can pivot quickly and easily
