Position Overview: S eeking a dynamic and motivated Trainee Structural Engineer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow and develop within a supportive environment while contributing to the success of our diverse projects. As a Trainee Structural Engineer, you will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience in structural engineering for residential spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems for residential projects, including new construction, renovations, and enhancements
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop innovative solutions tailored to meet client requirements and project objectives
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions and ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards
  • Utilize engineering software and tools to model, simulate, and analyze structural components and systems
  • Prepare detailed drawings, reports, and documentation to communicate design concepts, calculations, and recommendations effectively
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices in structural engineering, applying new knowledge to enhance project outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution
  • Experience in structural engineering, preferably within the residential construction sector
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as TeklaTedds, Tekla, CAD and Bluebeam
  • Eager to learn and grow professionally, with a commitment to continuous improvement and development
