Full Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer with Steelwork experience to join a well-established and successful company in their Scotland office.

The projects you will be working on will mainly be Steel Framed Buildings, with the majority being design and build.

You will receive an excellent starting salary and work in a supportive and friendly environment, and great potential for career progression.

Steelwork Structural Engineer duties include:

• Design of structural sections and associated connections where required.
• Providing technical/design advice to internal drawing office as required.
• Raising RFI/TQs as required.

Steelwork Structural Engineer requirements:

• Hold a professional Engineering qualification.
• Proven experience working as a Structural Engineer, ideally on steel framed building projects.
• Design and build project experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Experience working with design software such as masterseries, CSC/Trimble Building Designer or similar is advantageous.
• Good communication skills
