Student Recruitment Advisor – Assessment and Selection

 

Part-time – 3 days per week

Hybrid working – 40% of time spent on travelling/ campuses seasonally

Location – London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow

The Opportunity:

The Candidate Experience team (CES) is responsible for engaging, supporting and delivering the best and most diverse candidates to the firm’s school, through a mixture of digital platforms and assessment. You will help implement a best-in-class candidate experience at all stages.

You will work closely with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to execute and deliver the candidate engagement and sourcing strategy that is focused on filling regional hot spots and creating talent pools that are diverse.

This opportunity is 3x days per week with flexibility to choose when to work.

Your Key Responsibilities: 

We are looking for talent who are passionate about candidate experience and assessment. Bringing in the latest sourcing ideas to attract and engage with school leaver and graduate talent.

You will proactively build and manage talent pools through the platforms LinkedIn and Handshake, run digital recruitment marketing and attraction activities to help convert passive job seekers to applicants, support pipeline management & delivery, respond to candidate questions, and help deliver the roll out of our virtual and in person assessment centre events.

You will also be involved in planning and running innovative candidate engagement events both digitally and in person by region, alongside delivering on internal team projects. 

Key aspects of the role: 

First and foremost, you'll have a real passion for student recruitment, with innovative ideas for physical and virtual content that will create a big impact.

To qualify for the role, you’ll have some of the following:  

  • A passion for student recruitment, with prior experience in recruitment marketing or a desire to learn.
  • Strong data skills with the ability to spot anomalies and tell stories with that data; you should be confident using Excel and or Power BI (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs etc)  
  • Relationship-building skills – with the ability to challenge where necessary, always acting with integrity and enthusiasm.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and to high standards, able to take the lead on assigned projects using knowledge to achieve quality results.
  • Able to spend up to 40% of your time travelling at seasonal peak periods.

 

Ideally, you'll also have:  

  • Experience with virtual and/or in person event facilitation
  • Experience in either university or schools recruitment (ideally both)
  • Some experience of direct headhunting and sourcing through LinkedIn and or Handshake, or similar
  • A proven track record of executing volume recruitment   
  • Experience of public speaking/ delivering workshops to students   
  • An understanding of undergraduate and schools work experience programmes  
  • Experience of managing campaigns for multiple positions and building candidate pipelines  
  • Ability to quickly prioritise work and remain flexible in accordance with business needs  
  • Involvement in cross team projects and initiatives to support the wider team
