We are working with a leading tier 1 construction and infrastructure company with a rich history of delivering complex civil engineering projects across the UK. Their commitment to excellence and innovation has positioned them as a key player in the industry. Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sub Agent to join the team for an exciting electricity transmission project in the North of Scotland for SSEN Transmissions. 

Position Overview: As a Sub Agent, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of a high-profile electricity transmission project. Working collaboratively with a talented team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the project alongside Site Agents and Project Managers to ensure it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Please note, this role is located in the Highlands of Scotland and therefore you will be required to work away from home.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate activities to ensure the smooth execution of the electricity transmission project.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of professionals, fostering a positive working environment and ensuring optimal performance.
3. Health and Safety: Implement and enforce strict health and safety standards on-site, adhering to industry regulations and company policies.
4. Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure overall project satisfaction.
5. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Sub Agent or similar role within the construction or infrastructure sector.
2. Relevant degree or qualification in civil engineering or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of electricity transmission projects, regulations, and industry best practice is desirable. 
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
