The role:

The Subscription Renewals Representative is responsible for achieving sales targets in a defined territory that includes current Commvault customers. The Representative will contribute to a developing and passionate team, which is acutely focused on completing the Land-Adoption-Expand-Renew journey for accounts. Preferred candidates have an appreciation for the significance of Annual Recurring Revenue and associated metrics.
 

The Subscription Renewals Representative is also an exceptional team player, as close alignment with field Account Executives and Renewal Support Engineers is critical to success. The Representative, however, must also close sales opportunities on an independent basis. This is an inside selling position; telephone, video conference and email are the primary modes of customer and partner communication.


How you will make an impact:

  • Maintain consistent customer engagement throughout the renewal sales cycle.

  • Ability to scope current and future environments, and present multi-year subscription renewal options to the customer. These transactions are viewed as new sales.

  • Identify and close upsell/cross-sell deals during the renewal engagement; maintain opportunities for these transactions.

  • Excellent ability to diffuse difficult situations, create a clear path to resolution with owners and dates, and secure buy-in from internal and external stakeholders to deliver.

  • Strong follow-up/follow-through - address all actions from meetings and confirm that items meet with client satisfaction.

  • Comfortable creating new processes with leadership, willing to take risks within goal-oriented framework.

What you need to be ready:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 4 years’ renewal sales or inside sales experience.

  • Excellent communication, persuasion, listening skills.

  • Sales forecasting expertise.

  • Background in IT infrastructure.

Skills that will set you apart:

  • Subscription, or Renewals Sales, or Inside Sales experience gained within a software and or SaaS business

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM

  • Fluency in Germany and or French language skills both written and verbal to business level.
