Role Description
Gatehouse runs internship schemes throughout the summer for current undergraduate and postgraduate students. A summer internship is a great opportunity for those interested in geopolitical consulting to learn the ropes of the industry and the fundamentals of the core Gatehouse business. Interns are able to expand their geopolitical knowledge and refine their analytical skillset, with the support and guidance of senior Gatehouse team members.
Key Skills & Experience
Eligible candidates include students currently undertaking an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, with a right to work in the UK. They will also have:
Demonstrable interest (through academic or professional pursuits) in geopolitics and business
Ability to independently conduct high-quality preliminary research and analysis
Ability to produce clear and concise written outputs under tight deadlines
An eye for detail and strong work ethic
An entrepreneurial attitude and proactively takes on the challenge of unfamiliar tasks
Enjoys working as part of a team
Willingness to learn and take feedback onboard
Gatehouse Offering
Summer Interns benefit from the opportunity to work across a variety of client and project teams to get a taste of the breadth of the Gatehouse offering. They are supported by an induction programme and a range of on-the-job training. Your assigned buddy and mentor will support and guide you throughout the internship and help you to define your professional and development goals (at Gatehouse or beyond).

Timing: 6 week engagement from June-August
