Exciting Opportunity: Support Worker - Children's Residential Care

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children? Atrium Healthcare is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client for dedicated Support Workers to join their team in providing exceptional care to children with Emotional Behaviour Disorders, Autism, and Learning Difficulties.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you'll be a vital part of our client's mission to provide nurturing and supportive care to children in need. Your role will involve acting as a professional parent figure, creating a safe and enriching environment where each child can flourish and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a child-cantered approach, delivering high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of each young person.
  • Establish and maintain clear and consistent boundaries to ensure a safe and secure environment for the children.
  • Work collaboratively with the team, actively participating in team activities, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in your work approach, stepping in to cover shifts when needed to ensure continuity of care.
  • Uphold our client's values and ethos, continually learning and implementing new skills to enhance the quality of care provided.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Desirable: Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or similar.
  • Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
