We are proud to be a leading partner of the
Support to Succeed project!
This is a new project which
identifies, engages, and supports economically inactive Greater
Manchester residents who are furthest away from the labour market,
with complex needs (including those who are not engaged with
mainstream provision) to address barriers and achieve positive onward
destinations.
In order to ensure we deliver as much as
possible under this project, we are activley recruiting for a
Keyworker to join our team, someone who will be responsible for
responding to referrals and activley getting candidates engaged with
the program.
This role is subject to final
contract approval being granted. This role is currently on a fixed
term basis until the 31st March 2025, possible extensions will be
based on project extensions & additional funding.
What will you be doing on a day to day basis?
- Ensure contractual and quality compliance relating to paperwork and the CRM system, responding to errors and requests for additional information from the Customer Admin Hub in a timely manner.
- Use a variety of engagement strategies working with local organisations to meet the project's engagement targets across all participant target groups, ensuring equality of access for all.
- Manage a personal caseload of participants, being the single point of contact as well as mentor and coach, to remove barriers to education, training or employment, and support participants to achieve these outcomes.
- Through personal assessment and vocational profiling establish effective SMART action plans and optimum progression routes for customers.
- Maximise use of the intervention framework, referring participants to identified suitable provision, to assist them in overcoming structural barriers and aiding their personal development.
In order to undertake this role you will need the following key skills, knowledge & experience;
- Experience of ways to effectively identify local employment opportunities.
- Experience of how to maintain contact in line with contractual requirements, with participants exiting into work, providing in-work support if needed.
- Experience of being responsible to undertake marketing activities to build the brand, maintain a social media presence, and publish/promote Good News Stories.
- Experience of using a CRM to log contact, notes and project updates.
