Job Description

Sushi Gourmet  are recruiting an Experienced  Full Time Mobile Sushi Chef  who can support our teams in various Sushi Kiosks in Oxford:

  • Sainsbury's 289 Oxford Rd, Kidlington, OX5 2PE
  • Sainsbury's Heyford Hill Roundabout, Littlemore, Oxford, OX4 4XR
  • Sainsbury's Witan Way Witney, Witan Way, Witney, OX28 4FF
  • Sainsbury's Central Drive, Didcot, OX11 7ND
  • M&S 242-254 Banbury Rd, Summertown, Oxford ,OX2 7BY
  • M&S Gateway Retail Park, Ruthvenfield Road, Banbury, OX16 3ER

This role pays £26,000 and petrol milage will be paid .

  • A good understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations, ability to follow brand standards and comply with company policies.
  • Access to your own vehicle for your commute to work each morning

Able to:

  • Be accountable for the Kiosk and the team, maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations
  • Ensuring the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to maintain a safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves
  • Highly organised, with a focus on forward planning
  • Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift
  • Accurately labelling products ensuring lawful compliance around food safety and allergen compliance each shift.
  • Be a skilled multitasker who has experience of placing weekly orders, daily stock rotation and producing monthly stock take.
  • An early riser as shifts can start at 6am some days
  • Learn new skills or improve skills already mastered

Qualifications

Level 2 Food Safety certificate, HACCP, Allergens and COSHH are Desirable although not essential as full training will be provided.
