UE07 £37,099 - £44,263

Full Time - 35 hours per week

Contract Type - Open Ended

The Opportunity:

The Sustainability Implementation Manager (Research & Innovation Practice) is and important role in the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability (SRS). The role is being appointed to embed sustainability into research & innovation practice in a way that upholds and advances the corporate sustainability commitments of the University, and its partners and funders. The postholder will work closely with academics and professional services colleagues to improve the sustainability of research & innovation projects by embedding sustainability thinking at the earliest stage (i.e. pre-award proposal) and through the full project lifecycle.

Your Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • High levels of organisation and motivation, with a solid understanding of sustainability impacts and interventions as they relate to the conduct of research & innovation projects.
  • Experience of working collaboratively, as part of cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of research & innovation project lifecycles.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
