Want to be part of a Medical Device start-up team transforming the cost & availability of medical imaging devices? We are looking for a Systems Engineering Manager to join a revolutionary medical imaging start-up as they release new products to market. We're in search of a seasoned Systems Engineer / Systems Engineering Manager to spearhead the delivery of system requirements for our cutting-edge Medical Imaging Devices. Your tasks will encompass overseeing change management, validation and verification, systems engineering guidance and adherence to our Quality Management System standards.

The ideal candidate would be an experienced systems engineer / manager who has experience working on hardware heavy devices. Any experience with optics, medical devices or software is a bonus.

Role: Quality Manager

Location: North Oxford

Salary: DOE / Competitive + benefits

Responsibilities:

• strategic systems leadership to interdisciplinary engineering teams
• day-to-day operations of direct reports, including work planning and performance management
• systems engineering activities in compliance with industry standards
• with Quality department on regulatory documentation
• and supporting technical reports, requirements, and test specifications
• product security initiatives and advising on standards
• compliance with INCOSE and other relevant standards
• requirements for product lifecycle management software tools
• knowledge across departments and leading project tasks
• future product development aligned with company objectives
• in prototype development and transitioning to production

Skills & Experiences:

• in writing clear, testable requirements
• systems knowledge (hardware, optical or medical devices) to enhance engineering processes
• in requirements and test management tools
• of integrated hardware and software systems
• in verification and validation testing
• track record in meeting project deadlines
• management experience in hardware and software development
