Full Job Description

Job title: Talent Acquisition Advisor

Pay rate: 14.45 an hour, (28,200 annual)

Location: Nottingham

Contract: temporary, 3 months, 8:30-5, Hybrid

Job Description:

  • Act as an ambassador of our employer brand
  • Ensure adverts are fresh, engaging and effectively targeted towards our target talent pools, whilst
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure adverts are fresh, engaging and effectively targeted towards our target talent pools, whilst
    contributing to the continuous improvement of our talent attraction strategies
  • Act as an advocate for our ED&I strategy, encouraging hiring managers to challenge their biases and
    ensure diverse shortlisting for every vacancy
  • Support hiring managers with sifting and shortlisting for vacancies, screening for quality, technical
    capability and alignment to our brand values / behaviours
  • Lead on the coordination, set-up and running of assessment centres and interviews, being comfortable to
    deliver a fair yet engaging process for all candidates
  • Participate in career fairs and other events to promote Unite Students as an employer of choice among
    prospective candidates.
  • Act as an exemplar for interview and assessment technique (with appropriate training), upskilling hiring
    managers to ensure they are making the best decisions on talent
  • Contribute and lead on various project activities within the Talent Acquisition space to support the delivery
    of the long-term TA strategy

Experience:

  • Experience in delivering a high-volume recruitment process
  • Strong communication skills and a proven ability to build professional partnerships & relationships
  • A proactive, positive approach when facing into challenges, with a solution-focused mindset
  • Confidence in managing own time effectively, prioritising tasks to meet concurrent deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a small team but also to act on own initiative to make the right decisions for the
    business
  • A desire to learn and grow within a supportive and high-performing environment
  • Proficient with IT / Mobile applications, internet searching and the capacity to acclimatise to our bespoke
    IT systems and tools
