Full Job Description

Are you a qualified tax specialist? Are you looking to share your expertise and create and deliver content for learners? If you're looking for the next step after a career in accountancy and tax then this could be your next role!

What you’ll be doing

By joining BPP as a Programme Manager specialising in Tax, you will be supporting both the strategic and operational development of our programmes. These programmes fall within our Accountancy and Tax portfolio, and your focus will be in Taxation.

A responsibility as a Programme Manager will be course delivery and content development. You will be presenting for up to 90 days per year. This will be for public and in-house courses, with a strong emphasis on Taxation. Alongside this, you will be developing high-quality course materials for all Tax courses and support freelance presenters with developing their content. Short course development is an aspect of content development, as you will be delivering them through various formats to meet diverse learner needs.

Being heavily involved with Strategic Development is another responsibility of this role. You will be actively involved with the strategic development process. This will be collaborating with the Director of Programmes and the Managing Director of Professional Development. By working with them, you will be creating suitable budgets, forecasts, and targets.

Team Leadership is a key element of being a Programme Manager. With this comes managing a team of module leaders and freelance presenters, ensuring that there are successful designs, deployments and programme delivery within your stream. In addition to this, you will be managing the academic content within your product stream, and regularly review public course outlines and website content. You will be sharing your recommendations for improvements in relation to areas such as consistency, learning outcomes and market focus.

Choose a better work-life balance

In addition, you’ll have the flexibility of a home-based role, with the option to work from one of our centres should you wish. Either way, you’ll benefit from a vibrant workplace and a culture that believes in looking after others, while being part of a diverse workforce where difference is celebrated. In addition, you’ll work alongside other like-minded professionals who champion progress, while having opportunities to develop in an environment where creativity and innovation is rewarded. On top of a competitive salary, we provide a generous annual leave entitlement of 28 days, and there’s a rewards package that includes retail discounts, Group Personal Pension Plan, dedicated healthcare and dental plans that offer additional assurance to look after you and your family. Brilliantly, you can also study any of BPP’s courses for free – be it a professional qualification or full degree.
