Teaching Assistant

Veritas are currently working with a Secondary school
in Hampton. The school are recruiting for a Teaching
assistant to join their large SEN team. The Teaching assistant will
supporting SEN students across KS3/KS4 in all classes.
Having
experience prior child related experience and being proactive
in your approach to these students is beneficial - however
the school is willing to consider candidates that have a keen interest
in supporting these young individuals.
The successful candidate
will be joining a supportive and experienced team .
There are also ongoing training opportunities
throughout the year.
The school is located
near a mainline train station, with good bus route links.
Parking available on site and on surrounding
streets.
Key skills:

Experience working with SEN children age 11-16 in either a school or
care setting
- Professional, friendly approach
- Enthusiastic
and resilient
- Experience managing challenging behaviour
