Secondary Teaching Assistant

Are you a teaching assistant looking for a great opportunity to work in Secondary schools in RCT? Then we at Vision for Education would love to hear from you! We are actively recruiting for passionate and dedicated teaching assistants to work alongside Vision and our schools to give pupils an excellent education experience!

The right individuals would be confident and have a can-do attitude!

Responsibilities would include:

• Supporting secondary aged pupils on a small group basis or 1:1
• Working closely with school colleagues
• Maintaining classroom discipline in line with the school’s discipline policy
• Providing an excellent education experience for pupils as they undertake work in line with the national curriculum.
• Contributing to the school’s culture and ethos.

What we are looking for:

• Experience working in a Secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Have excellent organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively.
• Great standard of education and knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Be registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council
