The school are highly rated for their modern facilities and useful materials that are in place to support their pupils. From the school’s Estyn inspection, their quality of teaching was rated as ‘excellent’ across the school and it was evident that the Teachers and Learning Support Assistants work ‘effectively’ as a team to enrich pupils’ learning.

The Primary School is looking to take on an experienced Teaching Assistant / TA that is familiar working with children who require additional learning needs . The successful candidate will be working closely with the class teacher to best support younger pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ADHD and challenging behaviour . This role will be a great opportunity to expand your classroom management skills and receive an abundance of experience to help build your CV and personal development in you role of a Teaching Assistant / TA.

The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification OR 6 month experience in an educational establishment
• TEAM teach qualification is preferred but not a requirement
• Ability to use your initiative to respond to situations
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Excellent verbal communication skills
