In our CFCs - together with the proprietary software applications - we operate a world-class online grocery business that automates the single pick of products, ready for your online delivery.

About the role 

We are looking for proactive, energetic and enthusiastic Team Managers to work in our Service Delivery Spoke in Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the spoke operations to ensure all targets are met in an efficient and professional manner, without loss in performance to the business and within the site management structure. Whilst also exceeding customers' expectations. As a Team Manager you will lead the daily running of the spoke operations with responsibilities relating to all aspects of site safety and quality of service, delivering operational targets within the agreed budget and time frame. You will explore and engage with all business streams regarding reductions in staff turnover and increases in retention; 

You will report to the Operations Manager and may be required to deputise in their absence, as well as handling all aspects of employee management such as probation periods, absence management and performance management. This role is for 40 hours per week, working a Mixed variation of 10 hour shifts on an any 4 days from 7 rotation, including weekend working. 

About you

You will also ensure KPIs are a vital focus across your site, including labour turnover, absence rates and engagement scores. Experience in conducting formal meetings, understanding and applying the relevant policies appropriately is desired. Strong verbal and written communication and numeracy skills are a must and a passion for dealing with people and a focus to achieve employee satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance are preferred and previous experience in a spoke/warehouse or logistics environment are essential. A current, valid UK driving licence and previous management experience is also an essential requirement.
