Position: Team Teach Trained SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Ashton-Under-Lyne
Responsibilities:

Providing individualised support to a student with SEN, utilising Team Teach strategies to manage behaviour effectively.
Assisting the student in accessing the curriculum, promoting engagement in learning activities, and fostering independence.
Implementing personalised support plans, including sensory integration techniques and communication strategies.
Collaborating closely with the SENCO, teachers, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.Requirements:

Team Teach certification is essential.
Previous experience working in a SEN setting, supporting students with diverse needs.
Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviours and de-escalate situations using positive behaviour support strategies.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.Why Join Us?
