Job Description

We are seeking a talented Technical Assistant to support our Project Teams in producing bespoke designs. This on site role forms an integral part of our organisation, you will support engineers at the forefront of developing systems that are used in a wide array of exciting projects whilst being exposed to a wide variety of engineering disciplines.

What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate seamlessly with our engineering and project teams, working alongside them to achieve outstanding results.
  • Embrace a variety of engineering tasks that support projects and programs, showcasing your adaptability and versatility whilst working under the guidance of senior engineers such as:
- Writing Test Specifications

- Change Management

- Drawing Updates

- Schematic Updates

- Site Work
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, contributing your insights to shape the future of our business.
  • Maintain thorough and organised documentation, following our local operating procedures.
What You'll Bring:

Essential:
  • A minimum of a Level 3 engineering qualification/ completion of an engineering apprenticeship, demonstrating a strong engineering background.
  • A team player mentality, thriving in a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, allowing you to excel in various tasks.
  • A rapid learner with a flexible and adaptable engineering approach, ready to tackle diverse challenges related to challenging engineering problems.
  • An accurate, diligent and methodical approach to work in an engineering environment
  • Ability to plan and organise your own work following higher level direction
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the business including suppliers and customers
  • Possess a hunger to learn from this unique opportunity in order to effectively support the business and to further your own development
