Technical Manager - Leading Industrial Engineering Specialist

JS Recruitment are working in partnership with the UK's largest and leading industrial boiler and burner service and maintenance provider, predominantly operating within the industrial sector and continually growing organically and through acquisition.

Due to their grow, they now require a Technical Manager to assist in and delivering all technical aspects including supporting all operational regions, internal and external stakeholders.

You will be responsible for managing systems, product and process development activities in line with company and customer requirements and in compliance with associated industry / customer specific standards. You will oversee the day-to-day technical operations whilst working in collaboration with other departments and ensuring services are delivered to customers in line with cost, quality, and time targets.

What you will need:

  • A strong technical background within the combustion industry / boiler house maintenance.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams and working alongside others with positivity and respect.
  • In depth technical, product and market knowledge.
  • Proven experience in engineering or operational management.
  • A good business understanding and commercial awareness.
  • Previous experience of working to health and safety requirements and ensuring compliance.
  • Customer focused experience in a field-based role.
  • Knowledge and experience of ISO standards and accreditation/best practice.
  • Computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Full driving licence.
