A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a role working within the Group Technology Sourcing (GTS) department in the Vendor Configuration Services team. The GTS vision is to ‘be the best’ in executing our purpose of enabling the success of our customers by being a trusted, agile and innovative provider of technology around the world.
The successful individual will be responsible for issuing Cisco BOM’s, Networking and Datacenter quotations to internal sales teams across the UK.

What you’ll do

• Become an expert in quoting Cisco products using CCW 
• Support the quoting team in issuing Networking and Datacenter quotations
• Maintain knowledge on vendor/distribution, promotions/incentives / pricing models and mechanisms
• Work with vendors to ensure that all quotations are competitive
• Use knowledge and information provided to ensure that every quotation generated maximises the margin potential
• Collaborate internally with our Customer Executives, Solution Specialists and Account Managers to understand the customer and the opportunity 
• Establish strong relationships across our Tier 1 vendors and distribution partners
• Put forward ideas which may drive the team forward to create an environment that develops and challenges our people

What you’ll be

• Understand Cisco’s Hardware and Software Portfolio
• Understand Cisco licensing structure – Perpetual and Subscription
• Experienced with Cisco product portfolio, especially licence offerings
• Proven use of Cisco Comment Workspace (CCW)
• Experienced in using Salesforce CPQ
• Familiar with Excel
• Experienced in building and maintaining relationships with vendors and partners
• Experienced in a commercial function, sales and margin focused
• Organised with time management skills - ability to prioritise workload and multi-task across numerous customers, products, and services
• Able to work with accuracy under pressure 
• Strong mathematical / analytical skills
• Able to work within a team and to self-motivate 
• Able to demonstrate a pro-active, positive approach
