We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Recruitment Consultant to join our Formula 1 and Motorsport division. XQ is a Technical Recruitment Consultancy with a passion for high performance engineering. We work across cutting-edge sectors of engineering innovation. These include high technology divisions of Automotive, Advanced Engineering, Electric Vehicles, Motorsport and Formula 1.
As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle from sourcing and interviewing to placing candidates in technical roles. You will work with a range of clients in various sub-industries, so adaptability and a passion for building strong relationships is essential.

The role
- Conducting candidate interviews to assess their technical abilities, experience, and cultural fit.
- Identifying, sourcing, and engaging with top technical talent across various platforms and networks.
- Managing relationships with existing clients and developing new business opportunities through networking and referrals.
- Building and maintaining a database of qualified candidates and proactively sourcing new candidates.
- Providing guidance and support to both clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Negotiating job offers and compensation packages on behalf of clients and candidates.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and market insights to stay ahead of the competition.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in technical recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced agency environment
- Experience working in a recruitment agency environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and candidates.
- Experience with technical recruitment tools and platforms, such as LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS systems.
- An understanding of the technical job market and trends, as well as the ability to learn quickly about new industries.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for delivering excellent service to clients and candidates.
