Elevation Recruitment group are working in partnership with SPI Developments to recruit a Technical Sales Executive to drive their capital equipment and service sales to new heights.

As a Technical Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in expanding global presence and driving business growth by:

· Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities for equipment.

· Providing expert technical guidance and support to clients, ensuring their needs are met with precision.

· Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand our market reach.

· Collaborating closely with engineering and service teams to deliver top-notch solutions and exceed customer expectations.

· Analysing market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve and capitalise on emerging opportunities.

Role and Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Formulating objective call plans and actively covering the sales area through various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, Teams/Zoom calls, and in-person visits.
  • Managing and responding to incoming sales and providing quote accordingly
  • Generating new and repeat business by utilising a variety of channels and strategies.
  • Ensuring accurate recording of sales information to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Continuously appraising the market, identifying and promoting sales opportunities to maximise market share.
  • Servicing and expanding business with existing customers and distributors worldwide.
  • Liaising with different departments across the company to resolve technical issues and ensure that customer specifications and standards are met.
  • Representing the company professionally at exhibitions and industry events.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and sales presentations to customers as required.
  • Collaborating with technical teams, designers, and engineers to ensure the accuracy of products and projects.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with technical or manufacturing sales.
  • Experience in International or Export sales, as travel is a key part of this role.
  • A customer-centric relationship builder that is sued to long sales processes and managing a number of projects at any one time.
  • The ability to work off your own initiative and be a self-starter
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work with employees and key contacts at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and flexibility to meet customer expectations.
  • Proficiency in using ICT equipment and systems, including Microsoft Office.
