Technical Lead - Exciting Opportunity in Innovative Tech Company - One day a month in Manc - 80k DOE
About the client:
They are a leading tech company, with a vast network spanning over 10,000 industry retailers, manufacturers, and finance partners across the UK and Europe. Their mission is to streamline industry sales processes, offering consumers a seamless experience while empowering retailers and finance lenders with control at every step.
About the Role:
As a Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a team within a core area of their product offering. The role has a 70/30 hands-off/hands-on split, where you will be leading a team of 6 whilst still being hands-on. Your responsibilities include setting technical direction, providing mentorship, promoting agile best practices, and ensuring high-quality team output aligns with the architectural vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set technical direction and provide guidance
- Anticipate and adapt to technical changes
- Act as a mentor and role model
- Promote agile best practices and cross-functionality
- Develop a deep understanding of architecture
- Contribute to broader business initiatives
- Coordinate team activities effectively
Skills Required:
- Experience with Microsoft stack including .NET Core
- Proficiency in containerisation
- Familiarity with AWS (open to other cloud providers)
- Strong understanding of Solid development practices
- Knowledge of event sourcing is beneficial
