WHAT YOU WILL BE IN CHARGE OF

As part of a local operations team, our Technical Teamlead will be responsible for overseeing and managing the technical and supportive needs for operations in the UK (and Nordics). Management of the electricians and where necessary supervision of their work including installations, auditing and any other tasks. Management of the logistics and maintenance coordinator to ensure in country logistics and maintenance needs are managed effectively. Finally as the Technical Teamlead Operations you are responsible for successfully preparing more complex installations based on European standards and the available products and propositions within New. For these more complex (B2B) installations, site surveys over the phone with the customer and/or the facility manager/home installer are required to get a good understanding of the specific situation of the customer. Sometimes site visits are necessary to be able to create a good design that is the bases for the quote for the installation.

Requirements

THIS IS HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

Your core accountabilities are to

● Manage, support and develop a team of 3 FTE including 2 electricians and 1 logistics coordinator.

● HSSE management and investigation, quality control, compliance and regulations for the UK region & the Nordics

● Support the local delivery team and sales support in doing things right and according to the (technical) legislation, standards and requirements.

● Engage with other teams across the whole of the business to make sure that the region has the right products, processes and services for the markets we serve.


Success will be when you

● Take a lead on HSSE within the UK and Nordics.

● Take the lead and arbitrate on issues regarding standards and compliance.

● Successfully take in requests from B2B customers regarding complex installations after the first general intake from Sales.

● Successfully coordinate surveys over on site (and if required working together with our partners).

● Successfully engineer a design and bill of materials of the proposed charging solution to fulfil customer needs (and help automate this for simple designs).

● Gatekeeper for Local KPIs on site survey and lead time on quotation - in addition review competitiveness of quotations.

● Create a learning loop regarding the intake at Sales to make sure all necessary information is gathered to perform an effective and efficient survey.

● Provide support for installers that are outside our normal WoW. This support focuses on the creation of the solution design and potentially support during the installation.

● Support development of new training processes for partners and ensuring training meets quality standards.

● Compliance and regulations overview for UK.

● Develop automation products and improvements for us of our CRM WoW.

● Provide support between Sales and Operations for new customers

● Own and develop building blocks for new partners

● Support Residential processes for IS and local Ops - Intake, survey etc.

● Support Corporate processes for smooth intake and managing indicative quote process.

● Support overall to sales on technical knowledge and helping with providing information to making bids and in customer meetings.


THIS IS WHO YOU ARE

● You are analytical, well organised and have 4-5 years of professional experience in an operations role. Management experience is preferable.

● Ideally you will have a technical /engineering/electrical background, but this is not essential

● You are highly motivated to deliver a top customer experience and simultaneously improve our daily operations;

● You have the ability to communicate effectively with technicians in the field as well as with colleagues in the office;

● You are enthusiastic, proactive and can work independently;

● Fluent in English is a must
