Full Job Description

Alpha Financial Markets Consulting (Alpha FMC) is the leading global consultancy to the asset and wealth management industry. Following a successful IPO and AIM admission in 2017, with a market capitalization of £160m, we are now at a critical turning point in our growth. We are now looking to grow the company across all levels. Pivotal to our success in this, will be assembling the next generation of leaders, responsible for growing, elevating our market position further and nurturing the junior talent through the business.

 

We want to hear from people with:

  • A minimum of one year plus of proven experience in the delivery of consulting or change projects, gained within a leading financial institution or consulting firm.
  • A strong academic background including a minimum of a 2:1 degree from a leading higher institution.
  • Experience within ‘blue-chip’ Financial Services organisations, preferably Asset or Wealth Managers.
  • Experience of projects engaged on Target Operating Model, business processes and/or IT solutions in some of the following areas: Distribution, CRM, Portfolio management & Risk management, Middle & Back Office processes and outsourcing.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in relationship development: This should include examples of client account support/management and preferably geared towards supporting business development.
  • A stellar standard of communication, and a demonstration of good presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Senior stakeholder management and influencing skills, demonstrated with both clients and colleagues.
  • Understanding of market trends, drivers and outlook of the Asset and Wealth Management market
  • Focus on the overall achievement and growth of the team as opposed to solely chasing personal interests.
  • Interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and lead
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to show initiative when dealing with clients, form strong relationships with new clients, and maintain existing relationships.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and proficient use of business language as fluency in English.
