ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a global managed service provider who's end client is in the Mobile Telecoms sector. We are assisting them with the search for a Test Automation Engineer on a contract basis.
Role
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Test Automation
Engineer with expertise in CT/CD tools to join our dynamic team. As
Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the
efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our testing processes
within the CT/CD pipeline.
Responsibilities & Skills:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Spirent Velocity for automated test execution.
- Collaborate with the CT/CD Controller to deploy VNFs and launch test sequences using pre-defined scripts.
- Utilize Spirent Landslide for conducting conformance, capacity, load, and security tests against deployed 3GPP functions.
- Integrate Spirent Landslide into the CT pipeline for realistic background traffic simulation.
- Employ Spirent VisionWorks during the CD phase to execute active tests and validate end-user service experience.
- Integrate third-party components such as Git repository and Jenkins into the CT/CD pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of testing solutions.
- Continuously improve testing processes and automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proven experience working with CT/CD tools, particularly Spirent Velocity, Landslide, and VisionWorks.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or similar for test automation.
