TEST ENGINEER

Cambourne, Cambridgeshire

12 month contract

18.34 PAYE or 24.64 per hour

The Company - Test Engineer - Cambridge

A leading manufacturer of optical systems and industrial measurement and medical devices are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join their expanding team.

The Role - Test Engineer - Cambridge

Key accountabilities:

• Instrument Test role working on Scanning Electron Microscopes.

• Set the systems up

• Follow calibration procedures (mainly computer based, some mechanical)

• Check the test points ensuring each machine is functioning properly

Hours are Mon - Fri, 13.45pm - 21.30pm (with flexibility around start and finish time).

A day shift role is also available working 7.15am - 4.15pm at a lower rate of 17.02 PAYE (or 22.87 Umbrella rate).

Package On Offer - Test Engineer - Cambridge

• 18.34/hr PAYE (equivalent to 38,000 annual salary)

• 25 days holiday + Bank (increasing overtime)

• Excellent OEM training!

Skills/Experience Required - Test Engineer - Cambridge

• Previous test experience

• Need to be Basic DBS clearable and willing to do an airline security course.

• Good attention to detail. Hard working. Reliable.
