Test and Quality Engineer
Location: Aberdeen

Salary: £40,000 DOE

About the opportunity
My client are a leading switchgear business operating in multiple industries such as Transmission & Distribution, Marine and Oil & Gas.
The Test & Quality Engineer will be responsible for safe and effective testing of Low Voltage LV and High Voltage Switchgear, using various equipment, techniques and methodologies.

Deliverables

• Factory Acceptance Testing FATs of LV Equipment
• Supporting assembly technicians in Root Cause Analysis to effect corrective actions
• Conduct final point of production Quality Checks

Person Requirements

• Recognised Electrical / Electronic Qualifications
• Knowledge of HV and LV switchgear and associated equipment e.g. Circuit Breakers, Fuses etc.
• Full understanding of Electrical Schematics
• Relevant Manufacturing industry experience e.g. Transmission & Distribution, Oil & Gas, Power Generation etc.
