A large manufacturing company in the Colchester area, are looking
for a Graduate Test Engineer to join their busy team. The successful
candidate will be testing products right from the production line,
ensuring they operate as expected. An eye for detail and a passion for
electronics and engineering is a must to succeed in this role, along
with being forward thinking, self-motivated and willing to learn. If
you have the drive to succeed and would like to be a part of a growing

Duties:
- Testing of new and existing products
- Fault finding down to component level
- Maintain test records and results in accordance with ISO 9001 and internal procedures
- Produce detailed reports of new products
- Develop test processes and procedures for production testing.
- Create C++ software applications for engineering and production test
- Soldering cables or connectors used for testing, replacing missing or faulty components
To be considered for this exciting Graduate Test
Engineer role, you will need the following experience:
- Qualification in engineering, ideally with a high electronic content
- Use of test equipment, DMMs, Network analysers, ATE, oscilloscopes
- Able to fault find to component level
- Testing and recording data on a range of products and assemblies
- Able to create software to test applications
