Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client who are known for manufacturing luxury hand-crafted motorcycles. They are looking for Test Engineer to join their expanding team on a Contract basis. The role will be based in Solihull
Job Description
- Experience as a motorcycle test engineer
- Degree educated in a relevant Engineering or Science background or equivalent experience.
- Experience of test facility operations.
- Awareness of health and safety obligations in an industrial environment.
Skills Required:
- Experience utilising mechatronic control systems to support test activity.
- Experience executing component & sub-system level test activities according to defined test procedures.
- Knowledge of instrumentation calibration processes.
- Awareness of programming/scripting languages.
- Awareness of risk assessment, COSHH and compliance management systems
- Ability to acquire and interpret data utilising data acquisition tools.
- The ability to validate, prepare and read engineering documents and technical reports.
- General and practical understanding of physical mechanical systems.
