Test and Validation Engineer
Location: Powys
Job Type: 12 Month Contract
Salary: Up to £37.50 DOE Outside IR35

About the opportunity
 
My client are a leading manufacturer of high performance electric powertrains, we are looking for a Test & Validation Engineer who will play a key role in rigorously testing and validating motor performance.
 
Deliverables

• Develop and execute test plans to validate Performance, Durability and Functionality
• Contribute to the preparation, calibration and, where necessary, updates to Test Rigs and create automated test scripts
• Collect and analyse test data, create test reports and draw relevant conclusions

Person Requirements

• Relevant degree e.g. Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Ability to use MATLAB, Labview or similar to analyse data and create test scripts
• Ability to test Electric Motors, Motor Control Units or similar Powertrain systems, using Dynamometers and lab equipment
