Elis is a leading provider of professional garments and linen rental and care services. At group level, this activity represents 80% of its revenue and requires a yearly investment of several hundred million pounds. The optimization of this investment in terms of cost, quality and added value for our customers is a strategic priority for the group and in the UK.

The Textile Performance Manager role is to assist circa 20 laundries across UK and Ireland, in improving their Textile investment performance and customer satisfaction, by ensuring that their textile purchase is well controlled and by leading performance improvement projects on all steps of the plant and customer flows.
• Lead performance improvement projects at all
stage of their lifecycle, starting with projects from the Healthcare
Textile Improvement Programme (HTIP) roadmap
• Support the
HTIP governance bodies by providing regular and structured reporting,
including risk & opportunities analysis
• Challenge and help
plants in your perimeter to improve and achieve optimum results by
measuring and benchmarking their operational and supply chain
performance through KPI roll-out and regular consolidation
•
Review and analyse plants’ flow and processes on site to ensure linen
is being managed appropriately to give their maximum possible return
on investment, benchmarking best practices and proposing performance
improvement action plans to the management
• Lead improvement
projects to define and improve plant operation management
standards
• Develop Elis capabilities, especially at laundry
level, through coaching and training of key stakeholders, with a focus
on general managers and textile managers
• Act as a source of
knowledge for all plant supply chain matters, providing data and
analysis to the wider business
Individual
focused on performance improvement, analytics, and change management,
with over 5 years of professional experience, demonstrating:
• Validated experience of working cross-functionally, with all
levels of seniority, to achieve performance improvement through
structured approaches, including at shopfloor level
•
Excellent numerical skills are required, with the ability to analyse &
draw meaningful conclusions from data
• Validated experience
within a multi-site industrial or distribution environment, either in
support functions like Supply Chain and Methods, or directly managing
production teams
• Track record of successful project
management
• Strong academic background, with a master’s
degree or equivalent experience in industrial or distribution
settings
The location of this role is preferably in the
South of England ideally around Basingstoke, however as there is
extensive and frequent travel over the whole UK, it isn't rigid as to
actual location. Travel around the UK will be at least 2 days per
week.
