Theatre Nurse / ODP

  • Location:  North Bristol
  • Position:  Theatre Nurse / ODP  
  • Service:  General Hospital
  • Care:  Theatre - Anaesthetics, Scrub or Recovery
  • Salary:  £27,000 - £32,900 ( band 5) - depending on experience
  • Hours:  Full time 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract type:  Permanent

About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Theatre Nurse / ODP to join a highly reputable hospital based in North Bristol. The hospital is the regional major trauma centre and internationally recognised centre of excellence in a range of services and major specialities. The hospital is modern, vibrant and boasts outstanding facilities alongside state-of-the-art technologies. This is an exciting time for a motivated Theatre Nurse / ODP to join their friendly and enthusiastic team. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Theatre Nurse / ODP to join them.

We are looking for Theatre Nurses/ ODP's to work across the following specialisms;

  • Scrub
  • Anaesthetics
  • Recovery
  • Emergency/Vascular Theatres
  • Neurospinal Theatres
  • Urology Scrub

Who we're looking for

  • Be NMC/ HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 6 months theatre experience   
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Sound knowledge of the guidelines set out in the NMC / HCPC code of professional conduct and current perioperative issues
  • Strong communication skills
