Theatre Nurse / ODP - Private Hospital

  • Position:  Theatre Nurse / ODP

  • Salary:  £32,000 - £39,000 per annum - negotiable depending on experience
  • Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week

Further Details: We are delighted to be recruiting for a motivated and experienced Theatre Nurse / ODP to join our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their hospital based on the outskirts of Manchester. The role will be working in a bright and modern hospital specialising in Orthopaedic Scrub. The hospital is ideally located close to Manchester centre and is within easy reach of public transport links and local amenities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Theatre Nurse / ODP to join their existing thriving and experienced theatre team. The theatres carry out orthopaedic procedures such as hip and knee replacements, arthroscopy and they have a separate unit suitable for minor operations and endoscopy.

About the role:
As an experienced Theatre Nurse / Practitioner you will be working as part of the theatre team and duties will involve the following;

  • Delivering exceptional standards of clinical care to patients
  • Managing a variety of surgical caseloads
  • Working within a friendly team and working together to ensure the highest quality of patient care is provided
  • Take part in training opportunities to progress and develop your experience

What we are looking for;

  • Applicants must have a valid NMC / HCPC registration with no restrictions
  • Full eligibility to live/ work in the UK
  • A minimum of 3 years UK experience in scrub
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable
  • Flexible and positive attitude

Person Specification:  All applicants for the role of Theatre Nurse / ODP must have a valid NMC / HCPC Registration with no restrictions and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. At least 3 years UK experience in Orthopaedic Scrub is essential for this position.
