Coronation Street episodes are loved by millions all over the world and we are currently looking for a Trainee Crew Coordinator to join our dynamic team!
The role
You will have a vital role in supporting the Crew Coordinators and Crew Management team with resourcing, scheduling and administration of staff and freelance crew within Coronation Street. You will be responsible for raising and issuing freelance contracts accurately and in a timely manner, aligning with the fast-paced demands of production and ensuring that the magic of Coronation Street comes to life flawlessly.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
Competent IT Skills including Word/Excel/Google docs.
Understanding of TV production demonstrated through experience working in TV.
Flexible approach to work and working hours due to the variable nature of production schedules.
Knowledge of Health & Safety principles.
Demonstrable interest in learning new systems to ensure production is efficient and data can be reported on swiftly.
Understanding of production process and crewing levels.
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
Methodical with a flexible and logical approach to task completion.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy at all times.
Possessing initiative to adapt to changing priorities.
Understanding of Working Time Regulations, Drivers Hours rules and familiarity with in house agreements.
Good interpersonal skills including the ability to take a variety of approaches when dealing with issues and problems.
Proactive approach to personal development.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
