There will be many warm clients and jobs to work on immediately so commission can be realistically earned from Day 1.

The Role

As a recruitment consultant, you are an intermediary between companies looking to recruit (clients) and people seeking a new career (candidates). Primarily a sales role, a career in recruitment can offer high rewards and quick results. You will be speaking to clients and candidates on a daily basis, matching CVs and people to jobs. You will be meeting clients, networking, using social media and job boards and managing candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Our office is just outside of Reading Station (3 minute walk), we also have parking on site.

• Have bubbly personality, great communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to build rapport with anyone and everyone, always!
• Work proactively, take the initiative, approach and overcome problems with a positive mind-set.
• Have exacting standards, be highly competitive with an appetite to be and work for the best, and seeking out opportunities to exceed expectations at every occasion.
• Work well under pressure, be results-focused, self-motivated and super ambitious.
• Be passionate about Engineering and willing to learn more!

The Earning Potential, Benefits and Rewards

You will earn a basic salary and uncapped commission from day one. Your year 1 OTE (On Target Earnings) will be between 35,000 - 40,000. Year 2 = 45,000 to 55,000.

The Training

You will join our Recruitment Fundamentals university, a training programme overseen by our dedicated talent & development team. In this, you will receive a mixture of online, classroom and on-the-job training whilst having the support of our management team who will help you make the transition from Trainee to Consultant
