Job title: Training Coordinator
Location: Slough
(On-Site)
Contract length: 12 months
Working hours: The role is
required for three days a week (22.5 hours) and can either be worked
across three days or the hours can be split over 4 or 5 days, timings
to be agreed.
Pay rate: Up to £22.00 per hour
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking a Training Coordinator on behalf of a leading manufacturing company.
Job purpose:
We are seeking a
Training Coordinator to oversee the administration and scheduling of
professional training events for based in Slough.
The role
will work closely with all members of the Capability team, attendees
of Capability/Comms/Process events and internal stakeholders in
finance, Mars U and Workday administration.
Responsibilities:
- Support the skills squad in the organisation and deployment of the One Demand Onboarding Weeks. Manage the dates, book rooms, liaise with relevant trainers and subject matter experts, organise printing of posters and materials and communicate to attendees required actions - including follow-up post the day.
- Send out invites for all Capability interventions including onboarding, curriculum, Learning Pathways, Ready to Sell events, process workshops and other major events and manage attendance records and communication with delegates, updating event owners as needed.
- Booking of rooms for all capability offerings/interventions/meetings (internal or external), organising lunches and any other meeting organisation. E.g. communicating room layouts and other materials needed in rooms.
- Managing of capability rooms in Slough, ensuring priority use for Capability interventions is secured before releasing for use by other parties.
- Take responsibility for ensuring all materials are up to date before printing is produced for curriculum/onboarding or information is sent to delegates.
- Drive attendance of curriculum and events by identifying gaps and sending out marketing emails/comms to fill places with targeted Associates.
- Support marketing of capability events (e.g. Ready to Sell, Pathways, launch days, curriculum etc) utilising available communications methods to advertise them.
- Work closely with the Capability Manager to complete the Workday administration for the team, ensuring all key actions have been completed in a timely manner
- Work closely with the budget champion to keep a track of budget actions and track budget spend including purchase orders, cross charges, accruals and overheads spend.
- Raise purchase orders/cross charges/framework orders on behalf of the Capability team and add these onto the Purchase Order tracker.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Experienced in using Workday
- Excellent organisation skills and be able to adapt quickly to the changing requirements
- Confidence in using Excel to a good standard is a must.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a proven ability to connect and comfortably communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Must be comfortable with manual, admin related tasks that require focus and concentration on repetitive actions (e.g. processing data in spreadsheets) as this is a critical element of the role.
