Training and Development Manager
Field Based
£50k plus up to 20% bonus

The Role
We are looking for a kick ass trainer who loves developing people to be the best versions of themselves. You should love hospitality, it's people and seeing them reach their full potential!

As a Training and Development Manager at Megan's, you'll be the driving force behind elevating the skills and expertise of our team members. Your role will be dynamic, involving crafting and implementing training programs, guiding our onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver engaging training programs that make learning a breeze and boost team success.

  • Develop clear career paths to guide our team members toward their full potential.

  • Mix things up in training sessions with various methods to keep everyone interested and engaged.

  • Keep our training materials up-to-date so our team stays motivated and informed.

  • Be the champion of our industry leading learning management system, Attensi, ensuring everyone gets the most out of it and motivated to go back for more training

  • Lead the onboarding process and welcoming committee for new team members, ensuring they feel right at home.

  • Host orientation sessions that are informative yet relaxed and provide ongoing support to managers and teams in their learning journey.

  • Keep an eye on team performance and work with the people and operations team to create solutions for continuous improvement of the teams and our brand

  • Establish and manage apprenticeship programs to ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve training programs to align with our goal of becoming the community's favourite local restaurant.

  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations in all training initiatives

This is the role for you if...

  • Around 3 years of experience in training and development within hospitality is key.

  • If you've had a stint in operational or hospitality GM roles, that's a definite plus.

  • Creative problem-solving skills and a knack for innovative thinking, We're all about thinking outside the box and adapting our approach where necessary.

  • Being able to communicate well and present with confidence is super important.

  • Willingness to collaborate across departments to meet training objectives, collaboration is key – we're big on teamwork.

  • Attention to detail and good organisation skills are crucial.

  • You need to know your way around Microsoft Office and be open to learning new systems
