Housing Contact Centre

 

  • Location – Liverpool
  • Employment type – Fulltime
  • Salary- Salary - Clerk Grade 5/6 base salary ranges $ 93,295 – $102,941 plus superannuation

The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) vision is to empower all people to live fulfilling lives and achieve their potential in inclusive communities with a focus on breaking, rather than managing, disadvantage.

The Housing Contact Centre (HCC) operates 24/7 and employs around 400 staff to provide social housing services to clients in NSW, utilising various channels such as telephone, email and online platforms to cater to our clients’ needs effectively.

The role offers a generous salary package and internal career progression, as well as flexible work agreements , including some ability to work remotely from home.

 

The Role

 

As a Training Officer, your role will involve collaborating with the team to facilitate training sessions and design instructional materials for HCC training programs. This will include creating and delivering a vast range digital learning material. Additionally, the team are responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of these training programs to ensure continuous improvement.

Desirable Requirements

  • Have demonstrated experience in developing training / learning content in software such as Articulate / Rise etc…
  • Tertiary qualifications, Learning & Development, Adult Education and/or Media Studies, are highly desirable

 

Essential Requirements

 

  • Ability to travel occasionally to various locations across NSW
  • NSW Drivers Licence
  • Private and secure work from home office
  • Commitment to deliver training to staff both face to face and virtually
  • Excellent computer navigations skills and the ability to work between multiple screens and data bases
  • Appointments are subject to reference checks. Some roles may also require the following checks/ clearances:
    • National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
