A well respected and established supply chain and distribution business (one of the fastest growing transport companies in the UK) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Operations Supervisor who is looking to take that next important career step.

You will join an expanding, dynamic business in Castle Donington that will develop and support your career aspirations within logistics.

The position is to work Mon to Fri days. The role would also suit a logistics professional with Transport Supervisory experience that combines planning and man-management expertise.

This is a great role for an ambitious individual to join this progressive business which has experienced year on year growth, and with further expansion plans, they have an exciting opportunity for a hard-working Transport Operations Supervisor to join their team. You will enjoy the buzz of a busy transport environment and enjoy a variety of duties. You will have the experience to react pro-actively to unforeseen issues that may impact deadlines ensuring they are resolved as effectively as possible with the least impact on the business. You will engage with personnel at all levels of the business, building professional relationships as well as identifying areas for continuous improvement. Multimodal transport experience, rail and container logistics will be great advantage. If you have a solid foundation in transport and logistics with a strong operational background, and perhaps have experience of managing a P&L, cost control and reporting, then get in touch ASAP.
