Transport / Warehouse Supervisor

Do you have experience within the transport and logistics sector and are you ready to be part of an industry-leading team? We're seeking a driven individual to improve our client's operations.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport / Warehouse Supervisor to assist in leading a team working within a manufacturing factory.

Working Hours (must be flexible depending on client requirement):

Mon - Thurs: 8am - 4.30pm, Friday 8am - 4pm

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure effective communication with customers and suppliers.

- Oversee seamless receipt and dispatch of goods, optimising space and equipment usage.

- Understand company policies and goals clearly.

- Collaborate with departments and maintain communication.

- Maintain accurate stock control systems and plan for future capacity needs.

- Coordinate staff training, monitor performance, and inspire teamwork.

- Uphold health, safety, and security standards.

- Supervise vehicle and equipment maintenance and manage transport schedules and loading safety.

- Advocate for quality management and inspection.

What we need from you:

- Ideally, the candidate will own a Forklift Licence.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Knowledge of legal requirements for warehouse and transportation operations (CPC, FORS, Tacho).

- Proficient in people management, leadership, and motivation.

- Organisational skills and teamwork abilities.

- Initiative, decisiveness, enthusiasm, and problem-solving capabilities.

- IT proficiency and ability to work under pressure.

- Possession of an up-to-date Class 2 driving license.

- Fleet management knowledge.
