One of our clients are looking for a Treasury Assistant to join their team in Rainham, Essex. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a well established global organisation with a fantastic benefits package.

Due to the location of their offices, the client are only looking for candidates who have a UK Driver's License and access to a vehicle as they're not accessible via public transport.
Job Purpose:
This would be an ideal role for someone looking to
progress their career within Finance to join a global organisation.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in both Accounts
Payable and Cashiering whilst working in large organisations. You will
be responsible for day-to-day banking management, petty cash
processing, UK and foreign payments, import payments, employee
expenses, and various month end tasks and reporting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing and processing Petty Cash
- Process foreign payments
- Booking Currency Contracts
- Process manual cheques, UK CHAPS and other manual payments
- Daily and monthly reconciliation of bank financing facility
- Reconciliation of inter-company financing accounts
- Monthly bank reconciliations / revaluations
- Processing of DD invoices
- Daily posting of cash entries to a strict time line
- Month end reporting and analysis of bank charges
- Processing of employee expenses (credit cards)
- Perform part of the management accounts close
- Other adhoc tasks as required
About you:
As this is a key role in the organisation's finance office team, the client are looking for someone who have a very clear eye for detail and the utmost integrity. The successful candidate will need to be able to work well under pressure and towards tight deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy with their work.
Desired Skills / Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience working in a large / global organisation
- Experience in Accounts Payable and Cashiering
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Previous experience in major accounting package (Sage / Xero), or IT system
- AAT / ACCA / CIMA Studies preferred
