Responsibilities

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Select suitably trained offshore personnel to carry out casing and tubing running operations on Weatherford’s Client’s locations.
  • Brief and Debrief all offshore crews prior to going offshore with job specific details. On returning from offshore a full debrief is an essential requirement for this position to enable any issues to be addressed and gain valuable lessons learned.
  • Ensuring Weatherford and client service delivery expectations are being met. Perform audits on rig operations and procedures and ensure compliance with TRS Governance Material.
  • Interface between Operations personnel on issues relating to service quality such as processes, procedures, and technical updates and be fully involved in the management of change of these with all parties concerned.
  • Responsible for monitoring and managing KPI’s in relation to assigned contracts on a regular basis and reporting information to clients at quarterly reviews.
  • Ensure admin records, job reports, service tickets and Weatherford WPTS system are kept up to date
  • Provide technical support to the offshore and onshore personnel regarding equipment requirements to successfully complete rig specific operations to a high standard, Including being part of the operations duty rota.
  • Liaise with onshore teams ensuring that future customer requirements are addressed and communicate any special requirements to the maintenance departments. Review and update the operations look ahead on a daily basis
  • Ensure Competency Assurance Process has continuous improvement and all assignments comply with the designated country specific bolt on matrix.
  • Work with GBU to ensure an annual training plan is in place and covers the shortfalls in experience in relation to upcoming work scopes and CPARs.
  • Assist management to maintain optimal staffing levels through the raising of positions, interviewing and selecting candidates.
  • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years’ experience in TRS (Tubular Running Services).
  • Should be computer literate and able to use Excel, Word, Power Point applications as a minimum.
  • Knowledge of rig equipment and function.
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic and mechanical / electronic systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Fast learner, results oriented and independent with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Possess strong customer service skills, i.e. listening, follow-through, willingness to help.
  • Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures, priorities or work environments.
  • Passport eligibility.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Financial understanding.
