BRAND NEW DESIGN ROLE - FAST-GROWTH D2C RETAILER

This award winning, global business is laying down roots in the UK, and increasing their headcount in London with a number of critical business hires. The creative design team is a key pillar in terms of their ongoing success and we're looking for an online retail design expert to help elevate their digital customer experience.

What they need –

• Someone who understands how to design online user journeys, to maximise customer engagement and ultimately conversion
• Working alongside a fast-scaling team, you'll be taking the lead on optimisation initiatives, redesigning web experiences for their customers
• A data-centric designer who informs all design decision making with data and research
• Someone who understands ecommerce best practice and who strives to create the most intuitive customer journeys
• A curious and capable designer who can work under their own steam, using their initiative to spot opportunities to improve site experience to deliver against growth metrics
• Someone who understands how to balance functional ecommerce design without ever compromising on the visual quality and continuity of the brand

What you're great at –

• Delivering exceptional design solutions for another online retailer, overseeing both UX & UI across mobile and web
• Identifying design problems and opportunities to improve customer journey and overall site experience
• Confident taking design decisions that refine the site & customer experience across all touchpoints
• Using data & research to inform your design thinking, balancing the needs of site optimisation with brand and creative
• Thriving in an environment where they're building the rocket as they go (!) not afraid to work autonomously at times, to support the ongoing evolution of the digital customer experience
