UX/UI Specialist - Medical Product Development

Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum + 10% Bonus

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead UX/UI initiatives and contribute to the development of cutting-edge medical products.

As the UX/UI Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the development of medical products, focusing on user experience and interface design. Leveraging your expertise, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for physical medical products. This role requires proficiency in front-end development to bring designs to life and ensure seamless integration with product development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead UX/UI design efforts for medical products, from concept development to final implementation.
• Conduct user research and gather requirements to inform design decisions and ensure alignment with user needs and expectations.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to visualize design concepts and iterate based on feedback.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure seamless integration of UX/UI designs with product development processes.
• Develop front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement responsive and interactive user interfaces.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience of medical products.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in UX/UI design and front-end development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on developing physical products.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and projects related to medical product development.
• Proficiency in front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of human factors engineering and usability principles in medical device design is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Engineering, or related field.
