Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilledUpholsterer/Tacker to join our team in Tamworth.

As an Upholsterer/Tacker, you will be responsible for assembling upholstered furniture pieces.

Salary: Up to14.50 based on experienced

Working hours: Monday-Friday 07:00 to 16:00 with early finish and weekly payment

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut and staple the fabric onto the frame
- Assemble and move furniture frames and attach upholstery materials
- Install padding, springs, and other necessary components
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes

Experience:
- Previous experience as an Upholsterer or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

Skills:

- Must be physically fit due to nature of the role
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for upholstery work
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Knowledge of different fabrics, materials, and upholstery techniques
