Full Job Description

This unique role combines the responsibilities of personal security, supporting a wider Close Protection Team and working within our Global Security Operations Centre. If you are passionate about providing unmatched security services, and thrive in high-stake environments, then this role is for you. This role would suit somebody who is currently working in an RST environment and is looking to progress into Corporate Security. Please note this role will work a shift rotation of seven on seven off both days and nights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and security of at-risk properties, implementing and overseeing comprehensive security measures tailored to each location.
  • Provide direct residential security Support to VIPs, ensuring their safety through vigilant monitoring and strategic positioning in all settings.
  • Perform surveillance and monitoring activities to identify and respond to potential security threats.
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments for various scenarios and environments, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate identified threats effectively.
  • Engage in the development and implementation of security strategies for events, ensuring they are in sync with overarching security goals and tailored to the unique requirements of VIPs.
  • Act swiftly and decisively in emergency situations, applying trained procedures for medical emergencies, security breaches, and other critical incidents.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and discretion, always respecting the individual’s privacy and confidentiality.
  • Manage intelligence collection, utilising tools and manual processes for optimal results.
  • Manage the travel risk program to align and support specific demands of our business while aiding with travel consultation, documentation and mitigation techniques.
  • Proactively monitor travel risks, country travel advisories keeping in mind the businesses footprint while liaising with Country Security Managers.
  • Co-ordinate training and awareness campaigns on travel risk management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Hold valid certifications in close protection/security.
  • Currently possess a SIA Front Line Close Protection License
  • Hold in date First Aid Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as occasional travel both domestically and internationally.
  • Previous experience in RST or Close Protection or experience working with high-net worth families is highly favoured.
